Born in Tainan, southern Taiwan, in 1962, he developed a strong interest in Chinese herbal medicine from an early age, especially the scent and properties of medicinal herbs. After graduating from a vocational technical school specializing in architecture, he worked as a site supervisor at an architectural firm. At the age of 19, he began studying acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine, and continued to delve into classical medical texts such as Treatise on Febrile Diseases, Golden Mirror of Medicine, Formulas of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and A Heart Method for the Four Diagnostic Methods, gradually developing a deep interest in medicine. In 1986, he won a silver medal at the Geneva International Invention Exhibition in Switzerland for his invention of a safe moxibustion device. He then founded Po Liang Co., Ltd., focusing on the research, development, and production of acupuncture-related equipment for the Taiwan market. In 2018, his Ming Mu Jiu once again received international recognition at the Geneva International Invention Exhibition in Switzerland. Public information also indicates that the product has passed strict SGS testing and certification.
