Biography:

Jannet Tenebro, RN, MBA, is an accomplished nursing leader with over 20 years of clinical and administrative experience. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (Magna Cum Laude), an MBA from Torrens University Australia, and is currently pursuing a PhD in Leadership and Governance in Healthcare. Jannet has led hospital and clinic commissioning projects, served as a clinical instructor, and chairs the Education Committee at Capital Health. A sought-after speaker locally and internationally, she was honored with the SEHA IHSAN Award for Nursing Leadership in 2023 and named among the Top 100 Filipino Healthcare Professionals in the Middle East

It highlights how strategic nursing leadership played a central role in commissioning, developing, and sustaining a specialized rehabilitation facility aligned with national healthcare goals. Through the implementation of shared governance, structured training programs, and international partnerships, the nursing team successfully transitioned from acute care to rehabilitation-focused practice. The presentation emphasizes the importance of education, collaboration, and leadership development in building a resilient and competent workforce. It also outlines future aspirations, including the establishment of a regional certification program and a rehabilitation nursing society to advance the profession across the Middle East
