Biography:

Dr. Jacqueline Buford earned her BSN from Memphis State University in 1992 and developed a diverse career in clinical practice and nursing education. She completed her MSN in Education at Walden University in 2010 while serving as an adjunct instructor at multiple universities. In 2012, she became a full-time undergraduate nursing professor and later transitioned to graduate nursing education. She earned her Post-Master’s FNP Certification from the University of Memphis in 2017 and her Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of South Alabama in 2022. Through sustained scholarship, teaching excellence, and research engagement, she advanced from Clinical Associate Professor to Full Professor, demonstrating strong academic leadership and professional growth.
