Research Interests:

Background: Patient satisfaction is a critical indicator for evaluating healthcare quality and hospital management efficiency. This study aimed to assess the satisfaction level of outpatients regarding medical examination and treatment services at Tam Tri Da Nang General Hospital and identify associated factors. Methods: A cross-sectional descriptive study was conducted on 249 outpatients using a structured questionnaire based on the Ministry of Health's standards. Data collection focused on five dimensions: Accessibility, Transparency, Facilities, Service Quality, and Professional Competence. Descriptive statistics and multivariable logistic regression were performed using SPSS 20.0 to analyze the data. Results: The findings revealed a high overall satisfaction rate among outpatients. Specifically, the dimension of "Professional Competence and Attitude of Medical Staff" received the highest appreciation. Multivariable regression analysis indicated that factors such as age groups, frequency of previous visits, and wait times significantly influenced the comprehensive satisfaction level (p < 0.05). Patients aged 60 and older and those with chronic conditions requiring frequent follow-ups reported higher satisfaction compared to younger demographics. Conclusion: The medical services at Tam Tri Da Nang General Hospital effectively meet the needs of the community. However, hospital administrators should focus on further reducing waiting times and enhancing digital health administrative procedures to sustain and improve patient experiences. These findings provide a scientific basis for quality improvement strategies in private healthcare settings in Central Vietnam.
