Biography:
Ms. Anne-Marie Schreuder is the Chief Operating Officer
at Capital Health, bringing over two decades of clinical
and leadership expertise. She holds an MBA from Chifley
Business School, a Bachelor’s in Health Services
Management from UNISA, and a Diploma in General
Nursing from Stellenbosch University, with specializations
in Midwifery, Community Health, and Psychiatry. Anne
Marie also holds certification in Curative Practice in
Primary Healthcare. Since joining Capital Health in 2017
as Director of Nursing, she has successfully
commissioned both Health Shield Medical Center and the
Specialized Rehabilitation Hospital, demonstrating her
strategic acumen and commitment to advancing patient
centered healthcare operations

This presentation explores the unique contributions an operational leader with a nursing
background can bring to the commissioning and successful operation of a rehabilitation hospital.
By blending clinical insight with strategic operational expertise, such leaders are uniquely
